DANCE CAMP 2012

I was a group leader (heh. heh. heh. me. group leader. :B) of YELLOW GROUP! woohoo! Me, Kai, Mei Na and Li xuan! :]
We were suppose to choreograph some dance with a particular emotion potrayed in it so we chose Lovestruck and we danced some cutesy wootsy dance which is (I quote Kai) "Rachel-style" to That Thing You Do by The Wonders (: hahaha it was damn gay LOL. It's those realy simple steps and all that. here's me and Meina's ending pose.First Night was Nightwalk Night. Watched Shutter before the walk and i was frankly scared to death. I'm not one for Horror movies. I'm the mushy mushy love story kind. Lied down while watching and every time i got up it was the ghost face on screen GAHHH. Nothing to do here~ LOL. I think i screamed the most. I think i might've even said OH MY MOMMY. Juniors must be freaked out by me HAHA. So the whole time I was using my phone, waiting for Haoze to tell me racist jokes :P AND THEN HERE'S A BIG SURPRISE FOR ALL OF YOU. I got a text from my ballet friend saying..

I GOT A DISTINCTION FOR MY GRADE 8 BALLET EXAM!!!!!! OH YEAH UH HUH :>

Okay, anyway. Back to camp. Have a picture of me and Tryphena, my Nightwalk partner! woohoo! We were the first pair! obviously scared shitless but we finished it anyway (:<

Heh since we were the first pair, we finished it quick and went to lie down at the basketball court. Ahh the night breeze was (Y) It was a cloudy night though so the stars couldn't really be seen :[ We just laid there and talked about... haha we talked about boys. OOOH SO GIRLY LOL okay but it was nice bonding time :> so good to get to know my sec 2 dancers better because they've been so busy colourguarding i hardly get to talk to them :/ Here are the other Year 2 dancers ^^ YAYY I love my Year Twos :* heeheeThe next day was wet agmes day! oh yes not to mention the Dance Fear Factor Tradition. HAHA it was damn gross, rolling in raw egg and banana skin and dark sauce and God-knows-what-else. But washed everything away with water bombs after that :] Had more dance preparation and our Gay Lovestruck dance was perfected :B Had a good prata lunch too! ooh weeeee one of the many reasons why i loved dance camp so much!Heehee what's one thing i love more than food? OLIVIA! :D

Okay so second night was NERD DANCE PARTY NIGHT so we all... looked like nerds :BME AND OLI! :>

Okay so i didn't really look like a nerd... well i tied two ponytails for this okay! and i got nerd glasses on too :P haha two ponytails makes me feel so young again :DOh yes, The graduated sec 4 seniors came back too! and here's a polaroid of me and Jermaine and Germaine ;] If you guys didn't know, we three were the "Three Travellers" in our 2010 Dance SYF item (': ahh good times. Missed Jermaine so much!!

The party was really good! Dance parties always are :> did our performances (yes, my gay dance actually went quite well :B) and played lots of games! There's also always this section where everyone stands in a circle and as a music plays, anybody can just walk into the middle and dance anything they want. Mostly the graduates and the sec 4s dance (:

Hmm, i can't help but worry what would happen when my batch takes over. You see, It's not that we're horrible dancers. We're just... i guess you can say that we're just shy. Not confident, maybe. Probably also a little insecure because our batch is The Ballet Batch. Most of us are ballet dancers so we're not used to doing hiphop. Even i think i suck at hiphop hahaha :P i really really pray that we'll learn how to be more.. confident i guess. Nevertheless, DANCE PARTY WAS AWESOME!

After that the sec 3s (us) had an interview for the committee thingi for TKDC. gah i went in and hoo boy i was really tensed. and super nervous. Kai said my eyebrows were all squinchy and i was nervous-smiling so hard that my eyes were tiny rainbowy silts. Eesh. I told the seniors I wanted to be Vice Chair. I REALLY REALLY WANT TO BE. Seriously. Actually I'm pretty sure i could do it! But now i'm afraid the seniors would think that i'm not confident and i won't be able to lead well :/ ahh well dang it. i hope i didn't blow my chances. I was so disappointed over not being in Council Exco, i hope i won't be disappointed if i don't get picked for dance. HAHA who am I kidding, dance means more to me so i think i'll be disappointed anyway AWW WELL LET'S NOT THINK ABOUT IT.

THE NEXT DAY, everyone was zombified. Sleep deprived, eye baggy walking dead. And we still had to do PT. Well it was kinda strenuous but IT WAS FUN! eesh i fell down though. HAHA funny thing is, i had no idea how it happened! one moment i was doing frog jumps for the relay and the next moment i just couldn't stop jumping! I was like one of those wind up MacDonald toys! once you let go of the knob the toy would jump and jump non-stop till it falls flat down and that was what happened to me! I couldn't stop! Was it some momentum thing? Or maybe I'm just weird HAHA. well i slid on the assembly plaza floor on my knees like those rock stars on stage during a concert and damn, did it hurt. like a million tiny needles stabbing my knees ugh. everytime the wound closes and begins to turn into a scab, it opens up again when i bend my knees. Adele fell too! Well not a surprise cos she alwaaaaays falls )': oh Adele ): i think she had it worse than me so i should just shut up and complain less. BUT DAMN IT STILL HURTS.

Played a little Shoot Shag Marry with the Year Twos and Ones before breaking camp. :] So glad i got to know them better! :D No more awkward Hi s while walking pass one another in school! :D Not many Year Ones came but Thank you Miza and Cheryl for coming! (: Elaine came too but got seriously injured and had to go home ):

Gosh, feel like a stalker taking the seniors' pictures from Facebook but WELL. i miss them so much )'; Especially the graduated sec fours ): hmm wanted a picture with the current sec fours but many of them cried a little so they didn't really wanna take photos :/ THERE'S ALWAYS ANOTHER TIME OH WELL!

All in all it was a great dance camp (: sorry for such a long and wordy post! heh bye xx
