Thailand trip Day 1

HELLLOOOOO! I'm finally at Thailand guys!!
It was a horror, waking up at 3 in the morning for the early flight. Did a bit of homework on the plane but I fell asleep halfway. (What's new)
Thank God for Wifi though! So I can blog each day, day by day and not in one entire chunk when I get to SG ^^

Our trip to the hotel was pretty adventurous.
One of Tammy's friends (Tammy's my cousin btw)  took the wrong luggage and we only realised it when we reached the hotel. The craziest part was that the whole luggage was empty, only with one extra huuuuuge china bag in it.
Well this person was apparently planning (to murder someone and transport the body.) to shop like her entire wardrobe got wiped out by a hurricane.
So time was delayed by about 2 hours (boo ): ) but all is well! So we went to have lunch (which was reeeeeeally good. Thai food might be my new favourite)
Then we went tooooooo....

CHA TU CHAK.
lol no that wasn't a Kung bushmen. This place is really called cha tu chak.
It was burrrrrrrning there. There were fans installed in the stalls but those fans blew out hot air. I felt like I was shopping in an oven. Pfft. Didn't buy much though, just a few cute t-shirts. Hmm, honestly, I kinda expected more (from what all my friends were telling me about the place)

BUT. Guess what guys.
I bought a clock.

I am so odd. Hahaha! Look! The clocks there are all so beautiful and vintage(ish) *v*

Of course, there were earrings too

AND FLOWERS! Beautiful flowers.

The salesmen and women were actually really polite and hospitable! Even though they were firm with their prices, they never shouted or snapped at us once. So, i had pretty good first impression ^^

We walked around for about (2 million years) 3 hours then we finally went back to the hotel, where I met KRISTLE.
YES, ex TK dance senior kristle.
This is so cool I really never met a friend overseas before. Hehehehe.
Rooming with my mum for this trip! :)

After resting we headed for a fantastic dinner at S&P restaurant ( at the IT mall)
Isabel would spit at my horrible photography skills but, trust me, that sweet and sour fried fish was the best I've ever tasted!! So I couldn't put my spoon down long enough to get a better photo.

We then spent the next 1 and a half hours scrambling around the IT mall, from shop to shop frantically looking for All Time Low albums and...
I'm really disappointed because none of the shops sell them. NONE
I think maybe ATL isn't that "in" for now, but....
NONE. None of the shops.
Boo.
Oh well, ATL will be the "in" thing soon, trust me.

My cousin and her friends went clubbing so James and I (being underaged losers) went to workout at the gym. It was a pretty good workout! But my thighs. Goodness, they burn. I know it's good and I quite like it when my thighs ache but imagine the endless hours of shopping tomorrow. With aching legs.
*le faints* okay. Now I shall end my post with a picture of myself HAHAHAHAHAHHAA
Oh my goodness, Rachel.
Okay buh-bye! ^^
(Holy crap my face is really big here HAHA)
