Hello! It's the september hols right now and I am.... Studying. I would really love to say partying but nope. The sad truth is that I'm studying.
So why am I blogging when there's nothing fun to blog about? Heh heh okay it's because I've just written the introduction of the essay for my English homework and.. I think it's pretty good (probably because I spent half an hour on it) so, being the shameless me, I'm gonna type it out here HAHA
A common topic for many teenagers, especially teenage boys, these days are about online games. Online games such as Defense Of The Ancients (DOTA) and Left4Dead. These games are becoming increasingly popular and are highly addictive. It brings about a constant crave to 'level up' or to move on to the 'next quest' to the gamers. Teenagers also look at online gaming as a way to escape from the real world; the stressful world that mainly revolves around studying, and more studying. Also, in our technologically advanced world, more and more games are being produced. With new and improved functions and never seen before features, these newly designed games are extremely appealing to gamers. All these factors added up makes the online gaming world a dangerously addictive place. A place where a gamer's crave to level up starts to become a need. A place where teenagers can get hooked on to so easily just after a few games.
It's not bad right?!
You must read it in a movie-advertisement-ish voice where the last part sounds all scary and wooooo
Heheheh
