And the surprising thing is, they're thriller and crime books (with a little bit of romance only.) heh
Well, but I have decided
The elemental assassin series by Jennifer Estep
Woohoo! I haven't read all yet, but I'm planning to buy them!
Just so you know, I only buy books that I really really like.
Anyway, maybe I should tell you a bit about this book. Gin Blanco, an assassin, killed a lot of people. (Duh)
And from the first to the last book, she fell in love with a police officer, falls out of love with him, her mentor got killed, she avenged the death of her parents(most exciting part), she found her long-lost baby sister, and she found a new man and lost him when she killed his ex-fiancée. (And then I haven't read the rest.)
And she actually helped a lot of people on the way!
One thing I discovered from reading this series is my love for gory scenes.
This sounds so unlike me, but the scenes where Gin fights and attacks, the way Estep describes the blood and the smells and everything...
Well I think it's all very fascinating :P
And I love Gin's badass attitude because I guess it's pretty much the opposite of what I am.
I've always wondered what it would be like to be all bad but I'm a safe kind of girl.
You could call me boring, I guess.
But safe.
Safe sounds better.
