I missed yesterday.
And I'll probably skip many more days but my favourite book from my favourite series has to be Tangled Threats from the Elemental assassin series by Jennifer Estep.
I love how Gin faces another "hybrid elemental", Elektra Lafleur.
And there are quite a lot of fighting scenes in this book! Plus, Elektra is hot and she's super powerful.
If you're planning to read it though, start with the first book okay? (:
Day 5: A book that makes you happy
Well, reading in general makes me very happy but there's this one book that always gives me the tinglies and makes me laugh and smile and it's Bet me by Jennifer Cruisie
It is soooo super funny and there are parts where you just wanna re-read and re-read and re-read again (that's what I did) because it just makes you sigh and be all "I wished that happened to me"
The heroine: one of the reasons why I love this book so much! Min is not very pretty, or very skinny. She has calorie police for a mother. She's pretty boring, very ordinary, unlucky with men etc. But she has amazing friends (one sweet, one feisty) and the story is extremely witty. She.. Sort of reminds me of me I guess :P
The hero: WOO. Cal is handsome (sigh) and successful (sighhh). It all started very asshole-y though because he made a bet (hence the title) and he has great friends too- really funny.
The story is just really sweet and it just makes me so so happy. The only thing I'd be sad about while reading this book is when I reach the end.
