I abhor sad stories. It makes me miserable.
Especially when people die, or people get tortured in abuse books.
or God forbid, when a dog dies.
But you know once in a while you would pick up a book thinking "hmm this sounds like a good happy love story." And then you end up sobbing over the ending.
Yeah, those few unlucky days.
Well, this book had a happy ending (sort of) but it gives my heart a sad little twinge every time I think about it..
The story is quite intriguing anyway :-)
The Clearing by Heather Davis
I read it when I was 12? 13? Well, it seemed quite long ago and I never really forgot the story (yeah that's how memorable it is!)
Anyway, I really have to say this okay
O LEVELS ARE OVER SUCKERS
(You have to imagine me running around yodeling and beating my chest)
Yup. The last paper ended at 9 and then my girls and I went for a buffet.
Fantastic buffet at Orchard central.
Fantastic.
So fantastic I forgot to take a picture of the food because I shoved them all in my
mouth at record speed.
After that bel and I went for the Cambodia meeting! So excited to be going back.
We're going as mentors and hmm, I like my group quite a lot actually ^^
And after that I hung out with Tzon for a while.
He went a little wild and called out his Harry Potter inner beast
"Harry! Harry! There's a flower fairy flying behind you!"
Hahaha it was a good good day.
