Today (yesterday, actually. Since it's 1am now) was such a lazy day. I spent it scrolling through instagram, then twitter, the tumblr (and repeat) and sobbing at the corner of my room because I couldn't get past 17 in Flappy Bird.

I deleted that game.

I cooked some porridge at night for dinner for my family and then we went to watch the Lion Men.
It was super funny because they kept using hokkien and I swear, even hokkien sounds so vulgar and harsh, it's one of my favourite dialects because it manages to make crude sound funny.
The story was pretty lame though. But very Singaporean.

The past few nights I skyped Wee Sheng who was at his grandparents house in Malaysia and woo! He showed me the compound and it was huge!!
He also had a truckload of cousins who are younger than him so it was really chaotic when we skyped.
The original idea was for him to just introduce all his cousins to me, and they were all awestruck by the fact that we could video call.
But after they got over it they started climbing all over sheng and jumping on him (ouch.)

This particular boy was all grumpy because he wanted to play Sheng's handphone games but because of me he couldn't (':
"哥哥我要玩手机, 不要姐姐!!"
"可是我要姐姐! 一下子 okay? 给我一下子, 乖啦乖啦."
And this went on for quite long (him negotiating with his cousin and his cousin looking all grumpy and pouting) and I was just snickering at him on the other side of the screen, hahaha it was so adorable though :]
I could stare at them the whole day :>

At one point of time, his aunt came in and she thought I was a game until I waved at her from the screen and she went all "OH! Gong xi fa cai Gong xi fa cai!" (':

And did I mention that all his cousins (there are a lot) have toys and amidst all their wiggling around and wee sheng trying to get a good camera angle where he could talk to me, they kept waving shark and dinosaur figures in front of the screen
and I'll be like "WHO'S THAT WHO'S THAT!!"
Then he'll shift the camera to face them to show me
Then there'll be this split second where all his cousins stare at the phone, holding the toys and frozen in shock, and then they realise I can see them then they'll scream and scatter away like tiny ants HAHAHA
It's so funnyasdfghjkl and I guess even though we hardly got to talk to each other (they were seriously bouncing and jumping and standing on him and yelling all sorts of Chinese words; some even I do not understand) just watching all that made me very happy.
Besides, I got to see him. HAHA :P
